Hi everyone, my name is Ketsia Marie.

Late October, during the year 2018 I was crowned Miss Creole des Isles of the Seychelles.

It seemed surreal at that time and to this day I still can’t quite wrap my head around that specific moment.

My 2 years of reign ended last year and the experience itself has been generally a good one.

I have worked with numerous organisations, represented a few departments of Seychelles on specific events and also modelled for specific fashion outlets one having been Il était une fois.

I came about Il était une fois around my 20th birthday, I urgently needed an outfit and so I dashed over to the then newly opened shop and was not let down one bit.

Serra & Genevieve helped me decide on this classy, short black dress and it was gorgeous to say the least.

Fast forward to the 2nd year of my reign as Miss Creole, where we were informed that I was invited to attend this big event in La reunion which aimed to bring together all the beauty queens of the Indian Ocean.

Personally there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that Serra should be the one I needed to get in contact with for my outfits for this particular events. Il était une fois did not let the Miss Creole organization down.

I was sponsored two outfits to wear and I received many compliments while wearing the dresses. No other dresses compared to mine (might I just add) and I felt like royalty in it.

Il était une fois is strong on empowering women of different age groups, sizes, and social ranks and to have worked with them and represent them has been a true honour.

 I haven’t been let down thus far and I can only hope they continue to provide such quality outfits and services for the future.
